Ready for Christmas

 

What a nice weekend!  The littlest got to go celebrate her best friend's birthday with her at Chucky Cheese. I wasn't there, so I don't have any pictures, but she came home all smiles and told me what an amazing time she had! Then yesterday, we had a surprise 2nd Thanksgiving, so that was awesome! We also got ready for the winter.  I set out all the baskets of hats, scarves, and mittens.  I especially love the homemade ones from my childhood that my girls use to this day. We set up and decorated the Christmas tree and it looks so beautiful in our little living room. We'll probably put some more decorations out today, maybe mix up some home made hot cocoa and cappuccino mixes, and read some Christmas stories. The girls also got into their advent calendar today (thanks Rachel!)  and decided they will split each piece of chocolate everyday instead of taking turns. We have all had such a lovely time this week, snuggling and spending time together. I'm really going to miss the girls when they have to go back to school tomorrow.
